We’re not an HR software company, but we’ve seen enough of them to make us feel a bit like one. We’ll start with the reasons why.
The first reason is that there is a huge amount of choice out there — and that means you need to be really careful which ones you pick. Do you really need all the bells and whistles? Couldn’t you just use one or two of them? Looking at the list above, it seems clear that the answer is yes.
A second reason is that none of the software actually works all that well — in fact, most of them are pretty awful. Finally, some software isn’t even very human-centered (or if it is… then it doesn’t support automation or artificial intelligence very well).
