It can be tough to find the perfect gift for dad, especially if he’s a fitness enthusiast. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are 15 fitness gifts that dad will love.
I’ve been on the receiving end of Father’s Day presents from all over the world, and I have to say that, so far, the best ones have been from Australia. On this occasion, I wanted to focus on fitness gifts that dads loved and these will be a great fit for most Australian fathers.
For starters, if your dad is into fitness, there are a few gift ideas:
1. A pair of cool running shoes. Your dad will love them (and may even need some convincing that they are cool). These might be a nice last minute gift or even something your dad may want to buy himself in the future.
2. A wearable heart rate monitor. Dad may not feel like he needs one right now but he might want to get one before he starts boxing or running competitively again. For example…
3. An app-based fitness training program with heart rate tracking and videos showing exercises at different intensities until he can do them with good form (there are lots of good apps available). You could also go here for more info on how to choose a program like this one or here for an example of how it could look in an app menu: http://www.davebritton.com/blog/2014/03/the-best-apps-for-fitness/ . Of course, you could also just give him an eBook about healthy eating and exercise but I would be surprised if any dad would actually read it without a book as well 🙂
4. Nike sportswear? Your dad will love to wear them! Especially if they have a cool design on them! But be careful not to make him feel like you don’t know what kind of sportswear he likes; we all know that’s not true!
